Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. Seema Deshmukh and Dr. Brinda S. Godhi, Reader from Department of Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry, JSS Dental College & Hospital, JSS AHER, have bagged Best Scientific Presentation awards in the 43rd ISPPD National Conference organised by People’s College of Dental Science & Research Centre, Bhopal, recently.

Dr. Seema Deshmukh presented the research work funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) titled “Assisted Breastfeeding technique to improve the Knowledge, Attitude and Practice of mothers of cleft lip and palate affected infant – A Randomized Controlled Pilot Trial”.

Dr. Brinda presented her research work titled “Assessment of Antimicrobial Efficacy and Cytotoxicity of Propolis extracts in Comparison with Commercially Available Endodontic Antimicrobial Irrigants – In vitro study”.

Dr. Gunica, postgraduate student, also received the Best Poster Presentation award in the same Conference.
