Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has advanced the date of K-CET Kannada exam for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga students to Apr. 15.

The exam was earlier scheduled to take place on Apr. 18. But as the KEA received many representations seeking a change of date as Apr. 18 was a public holiday for Good Friday, the KEA advanced the Kannada exam date to Apr. 15, according to KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna.

As per the revised schedule, the K-CET Kannada language exam for Gadinadu and Horanadu students will be held from 10.30 am on Apr. 15 at Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Vijayapura and Belagavi centres. However, the K-CET exam (Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology) will take place as scheduled on Apr. 16 and 17 and the students will be allowed to download their Hall tickets shortly.
