K. Dhruvakumar (54), Head of Economics Department at University of Mysore Evening College and a resident of Siddarthanagar, passed away on Friday morning following a heart attack. He had served as Economics Lecturer for about 20 years at Maharaja’s College and at the Evening College.

A native of Koppa in Mandya district, he leaves behind his wife, one son and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at the foot of Chamundi Hill on Friday evening.
