Mysuru: The Political Science Department of St. Philomena’s College, Mysuru, commemorated Kasturba Gandhi’s birth anniversary on Apr. 11.

The event took place at the College Indoor Stadium and was organised under the theme ‘Mahatma Behind Mahatma.’

Dr. Ravi J.D. Saldanha, Principal and Rev. Fr. Jnanapragasam, graced the occasion.

In tribute to Kasturba Gandhi’s Nobel legacy, the Department of Political Science honoured the women house-keeping workers recognising their dedication and service. Head of Department Prof. C. Anand and Assistant Professor Kudure Ellappa were present. About 120 students attended the event.
