Siddapura (Kodagu): With tourists flocking the Hilly Kodagu district, popularly known as Kashmir of Karnataka, almost all roads leading to various tourist spots in the district are witnessing huge traffic jams these days, especially during weekends. The popular tourist spots in the district include Nisargadhama near Kushalnagar, Harangi Dam near Kushalnagar, Dubare Elephant Camp, Abbey Falls, Raja Seat at Madikeri, Talacauvery, the birth place of River Cauvery, Bhagamandala and Chiklihole Dam among others.

Due to the tourist influx, many roads across the district are witnessing traffic jams, with a large number of vehicles carrying tourists arriving in the district.
