Mysore/Mysuru: Dattatreya, Vice-Chairman, Karnataka State Small Industries Development Corporation (KSSIDC), visited Hebbal Industrial Estate Manufacturers Association (HIEMA) in city recently and interacted with the office-bearers, Executive Members and HIEMA members.
N.H. Jayanth, President of HIEMA, highlighted the problems faced by the entrepreneurs at the Industrial Estate and also the high taxes levied by MCC without providing any basic services. He suggested that the best option for Industries would be to have a Township which was approved in the previous budget.
Prakash, Vice-President, Mohankumar, Treasurer and other members of HIEMA, explained the difficulties faced by the entrepreneurs.
C.M. Subramanian, Secretary, told the Vice-Chairman that the Association was maintaining the infrastructure like water, road, street lights etc., for last 20 years.
After giving a patient hearing to the grievances of the members present, the Vice-Chairman said he understands the difficulties of the entrepreneurs and added that he would take up the matter with the Government agencies for the establishment of Hebbal Industrial Township.
