Mysuru: Lions Clubs International, District 317 A, is organising a Region Conference on the topic ‘Forest from water –water from Forest’ on Jan. 21 at Valmiki Bhavan in Vijayanagar II Stage here at 8.30 am.

Environment and water expert Shivanand Kalave will deliver the keynote address. Deputy Conservator of Forests D. Yatish Kumar and MCC Commissioner G. Jagadeesha will be the chief guests. Nearly 12 Lions Clubs and more than 500 members are expected to participate in the conference. A sapling will be given to those who register for the conference, according to a press release from Lion Krishna Channe Gowda, Region Chairperson.
