LPG tanker turns turtle

October 13, 2018

Mysuru: An LPG tanker reportedly turned turtle near Sa. Ra. Convention Hall on the Ring Road at Dattagalli yesterday.

Fortunately, there were no casualties in the mishap and the LPG tanker driver escaped with minor injuries. The mishap would have been on a larger scale had the LPG leaked out of the tanker.

The Kuvempunagar Police and Saraswathipuram Fire Brigade personnel rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area. The LPG in the overturned tanker was siphoned off to two other tankers   with all safety measures in place this morning.
