M. Shivaraj (78), retired Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) and a resident of Kuvempunagar, passed away yesterday in city.

A native of Nilgiris in Tamil Nadu, he leaves behind his wife Vasumathi, sons Charan and Bharath, daughters-in-law Shilpa and Shylaja, grandchildren Tarun Raj, Hitharaj and Arshiya and a host of relatives and friends.

He had served in Public Works, CITB and Irrigation Departments.

Last rites were performed at K.G. Koppal Burial Grounds this noon.
