Mahadeva  Rao (75), a retired Police Sub-Inspector, Chamarajanagar and a resident of Ramakrishnanagar in Mysuru, passed away in Bengaluru yesterday.

He leaves behind three sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed in Bengaluru today, according to family sources.
