Mysore/Mysuru: Mahajana College hosted its Annual Parents’ Meet recently, welcoming parents, students, and guests to an evening of insightful discussions and shared visions for the future.

In his address as chief guest, S.N. Sandesh Kumar, Assistant Commissioner of Police (CCB) Mysuru, shed light on the pressing issues faced by today’s youth. He emphasised that over-parenting and parental negligence were among the root causes behind these challenges. He stressed the importance of a student’s role and their focus on education as the key to success.

Principal Dr. B.R. Jayakumari highlighted the institution’s academic freedom as an autonomous institution, allowing for industry-oriented and job-oriented syllabi. She underlined that a parent’s role extends beyond admission, urging parents to foster a strong relationship with the institution to ensure their children’s social and academic growth.

Secretary Dr. T. Vijayalakshmi Muralidhar expressed the management’s dedication to student welfare, providing free education for meritorious students and fee concessions for those from defence backgrounds.
