Mysuru: Vid. Rakshith Prasad, a young performing artiste, will be presenting a Karnatak Mandolin Concert at the heritage house of Mysore Vasudevacharya in city on Mar. 23.
He will be accompanied by Vidu. Divyashree on violin and Vid. Sai Shiv Lakshmi Keshav on mridanga. The concert, starting at 10.30 am, is open to all.
Rakshith started learning Karnatak Classical Music on mandolin with Vid. A.V. Dattatreya in 2005 and continued with Mandolin U. Shrinivas for 5 years. He is presently undergoing advanced training from Dr. Mysore Manjunath. A graded artiste in All India Radio, Bengaluru, Rakshith has been presenting concerts at prestigious organisations.
Vidu. Divyashree, a disciple of Dr. Manjunath, presently works for AIR, Mysuru.
Vid. Sai Shiv, hailing from the Karaikudi Mani School, is a leading percussionist in the State.
