Mandolin Magic by Sadgun Aithal at Raaga on 18th

A Children’s Day special from Raaga Music Academy features the well-known Mandolin player Vid. Sadgun Aithal  on Saturday the 18th at 5.30 pm at Prajna Kuteera Ayurveda Centre, Vishwamanava Double Road, Kuvempunagar.

A child prodigy, Sadgun, who is just 14 years of age now, is a student of Vid. U. Prasanna Kumar (direct disciple of Mandolin Maestro late U. Srinivas). Apart from Mandolin, he is learning Vocal music, Mridanga, Veena and Keyboard. A class 9 student, he has passed Junior Grade exams in Karnatak Vocal with 99.5% and Karnatak Mandolin with 98.5%.

On Saturday, he is being accompanied by another young star Vid. Nikshith Puttur on the mridanga and the evergreen doyen Vid. V.S. Ramesh on the morching.
