On the auspicious occasion of its 61st Foundation Day, the world’s largest blood donor organisation, Akhil Bharatiya Terapanth Yuvak Parishad (ABTYP), in collaboration with the Government of India, is set to organise the world’s largest blood donation campaign — Raktdaan Amrit Mahotsav 2.0. To bridge the shortfall of blood in the country and to strengthen the culture of voluntary blood donation by inspiring and adding a substantial number of new donors to the existing pool, 7,500-plus blood donation camps will be organised across 75 countries, including India, in a single day, on Sept. 17.
Mysuru Branch of ABTYP, in association with Rotary Mysore, is organising Mega Blood Donation Drive across 20 centres in Mysuru, from 8.30 am to 3 pm tomorrow.
