While CM Siddaramaiah has come under attack for MUDA’s 50:50 site distribution scam, many others are also under the radar.

In a sort of development, the Government has appointed a One-Man Commission (retired High Court Judge P.N. Desai) but it has not given any confidence to the people of any positive result out of it. The Commission has not established any office in Mysuru and the public has no easy access.

Mysore Grahakara Parishat (MGP) had urged for a CBI inquiry soon after the scam came to the national agenda. MGP also demanded that the authorities should look into the now forgotten Vijay Bhaskar Report and the misuse of CA sites dealt with therein.

So far only a few activists have taken active part in holding MUDA accountable. MGP’s online signature campaign did not get even 1,500 participants.

To discuss what should be done to get larger involvement of the public, MGP has invited activists like former MUDA employee Nataraj, advocate Arunkumar, who has already filed a PIL in local Court, RTI activist Snehamayi Krishna, Thulasidharan, etc. Those who know of land grabbing issues are invited to participate.
