Misleading green LED lights outside many medical shops

July 13, 2024

Sir,

Recently, many medical shops in Mysuru have installed green LED boards outside their premises. However, those situated near traffic signal lights are inadvertently causing issues for motorists.

The green display boards are being mistaken for green traffic signal lights, potentially leading to traffic problems.

It is difficult to understand whose idea it was to place green LED boards at medical shops, especially near traffic signals.

To ensure the safety of motorists, I urge the traffic authorities to consider banning the use of these green LED display boards to protect the public.
