MUDA case: HC likely to hear CBI probe plea on Oct. 21

October 15, 2024

Mysuru: A petition has been filed in the High Court seeking a CBI investigation into the alleged MUDA scam involving Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his family.

Sources informed Star of Mysore that advocate Vasant Kumar, representing activist Snehamayi Krishna, submitted the petition in the last week of September 2024, and the case is expected to be listed for hearing on Oct. 21.

The petition urges the Court to direct the State Government to transfer the MUDA probe to the CBI, arguing that the magnitude of the scam warrants a thorough and impartial investigation, which only the CBI can ensure.
