Music University to hold State-level exams

A special State-level music, dance and talavadya examinations will be held from this academic year by the Karnataka State Dr. Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University, Mysuru.

In a press release, Music University Registrar said that the written examinations will be held on July 27 and 28 at 18 centres across Karnataka.

Practical examinations will begin from Aug. 16. Junior and Senior Practical examinations will be held at centres where theory examinations are held.

Pre-Vidwat and Vidwat Final practical examinations will be held at Mysuru, Bengaluru, Dharwad, Davanagere and Mangaluru zones. Syllabus prescribed by Karnataka Examinations and Valuation Board have been considered. Exam rules will be as per University/UGC rules.
