Mysuru Prison staff shine in district-level sports

Mysuru: Officers and staff members of Mysuru Central Jail won a total of 10 medals including 8 gold and 2 silver medals in the recently held District-level State Government Employees Sports and Cultural Competitions in city.

 Assistant Jailer V.T. Boregowda won a gold medal in shuttle badminton singles and silver in doubles category; Chief Warden S.M. Uma won three gold medals (400 mts run, 4×400 mts relay and 800 mts run) and silver in kabaddi; Jail Warden V.P.S. Darshan won gold medal in chess while B.K. Shivarudrappa, C.M. Sumanth and M.K. Prasanna Hegde won gold medals in kabaddi.
