Mysuru: The Oriental Research Institute (ORI), coming under University of Mysore (UoM), in association with Sri Vyasateertha Samshodhana Pratishtana, Krishnamurthypuram, will be conducting a two-day National Seminar on ‘Kalidasa Kruti Sameeksha’ on Feb.14 and 15 at Vijnana Bhavan in Manasagangothri campus.
MP Pratap Simha will inaugurate the seminar at 10 am in the presence of Vyasaraja Mutt Seer Sri Vidyashreeshateertha Swamiji. UoM Registrar V.R. Shylaja will preside.
Retired Superintending Archaeological Chemist S. Subbaraman, Padma Shri, will be honoured. ORI Director Dr. D.P. Madhusudhanacharya and Pratishtana Director Prof. C.H. Srinivasmurthy will be present.
Subject experts Dr. G. Krishnaprasad, Dr. Sharatchandraswamy, Vidwan Dr. T.V. Satyanarayana, Prof.Tirumalacharya Kulkarni, Prof. C.H. Srinivasmurthy, Dr. Umakantabhat Kerekai and Dr. H.V. Nagaraja Rao will present papers during the two-day event, according to a press release from ORI Director.
