Neravanda Bharath (51), a National Hockey Umpire and a resident of Madikeri, passed away in the wee hours of today in the town. He leaves behind his wife, two children and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at the family’s burial grounds in Kumbaladal village, Moornad, this afternoon.
