Mysore/Mysuru: Newly weds exercised their franchise soon after tying their knots various polling booths across Kushalnagar in Kodagu district yesterday.

At first, K.S. Srinivas, after completing the marriage rituals, arrived at a polling booth in Kudige and along with his wife to cast his vote. Meanwhile, B.N. Annapurna and Dhananjay couple, who entered into a wedding lock at Kushalnagar yesterday rushed to the polling booth and exercised their franchise. Newlyweds P.R. Harshan and Chandrakala couple also cast their votes at booth number 149 at Seegehosur in the taluk.
