Mysuru: Kukkarahalli Lake Protection Committee Member K.M. Jayaramaiah has in a press release urged the public visiting the Lake not to throw plastic covers and bottles into the water body as it pollutes the water. He has also appealed the University of Mysore authorities to authorise the Security Guards to prevent people visiting the Lake from carrying plastic items besides requesting the public to co-operate.
