Mysuru: City Crime Branch (CCB) Police, on Sunday, have arrested a person on charges of selling liquor illegally near Trinethra Circle at Mahadeshwara Layout in city and have seized 135 packs of liquor worth about Rs. 5,977 and Rs. 320 cash from him.

The arrested is V.B. Venkatesha, son of Boraiah, who is working as a cashier at Trinethra Bar and Restaurant and a native of Vadralu village, Huliyuru Durga Hobli in Kunigal taluk. CCB ACP B.R. Lingappa, led Inspector Krishnappa and staff L. Subash Chandra, Madaraje Urs, M.N. Nagesh, H.S. Puneeth and Rajesh in the nabbing and seizing operation.
