Mandya: To create awareness about COVID among the youths, the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) Student Chapter of P.E.S College of Engineering in collaboration with Youth Red Cross Wing of P.E.S College of Engineering, had organised an “Online Quiz competition on COVID Awareness” on July 29. 

Principal Dr. H.V. Ravindra inaugurated the competition by uploading the questions to the Website. ISTE Chapter Chairman and Programme Officer of the Youth Red Cross Wing Dr. B.S. Shivakumara narrated the significance of the competition in today’s context.  Programme Officer of the Youth Red Cross Wing Dr. B. Shanmukha,  ISTE Chapter Secretary Dr. M.N. Veena, Dr. B. Dinesh Prabhu,  Dr. N. Jagadeesh, Dr. K. J. Mahendra Babu,  Pooja Nagpal, Dr. S.R. Nayak, B.N. Harish, M. Sreenivas, B. S. Puttaswamy, student leaders Harish, Suhruth, Sunad and Pooja  were present. 

Students from various parts of the country participated in the competition. Prizes to the winners will be distributed on the occasion of “ISTE Day” and “World Red Cross Day” celebrations.
