Overgrown weeds grown in a vacant site on the 12th Main in Vijayanagar 1st Stage is causing a lot of problems to the residents living in the surroundings. Residents say that they encounter snakes and other reptiles daily which has caused a sense of fear among them besides stating that there is an increase in mosquitoes lately, resulting in many suffering bites and falling sick. Authorities concerned are urged to get the weeds cleared at the earliest.
