P. Savitha has been awarded Ph.D in Business Administration by the UoM for her thesis ‘Empirical testing of initial public offerings underpricing: A study of selected cases in Indian stock Market’ [Guide: Dr. B. Shivaraj].

Senior Congress leader and former City Congress President C. Dasegowda has been appointed as a member of KPCC Executive Committee. The appointment is made by KPCC President Dr. G. Parameshwara. Dasegowda, who is also a past Chairman of CADA (Cauvery), will be in-Charge of Mysuru City & District and Chamarajanagar District.
