December 26, 2025Swimmers of city’s Marlin Aquatic Centre won overall championship and individual championships at the recently held 2nd State-level Non-Medallist Swim Meet-2025 at Shivamogga. The Individual Champions from Marlin Aquatic Centre are: M.J. Kashvi Kaveramma, Mihir Kalicharan, I.C. Bhuvainika, Punarni P. Javali and Nakshath Gowda. They are being trained by Head Coach K.S. Mahesha.

December 26, 2025N.M. Prakash (65), a retired Executive Engineer of KUWSSB and a resident of Anandnagar in the city, passed away here yesterday. He leaves behind his wife, a daughter, son-in-law and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at Mukthidhama in Vijayanagar 4th Stage this afternoon.
