Painter dies after accidental fall

Mysore/Mysuru: In a tragic incident, a painter died after accidentally falling from an Apartment  building in Lakshmipuram on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as N. Satish (47), a resident of Kyathamaranahalli in the city.

Following instructions from the Apartment engineer Deepak, Satish  was painting the outside portion of a wall of the Apartment, when he slipped and fell to the ground, after the rope tied to a scaffolding pole got cut. As a result, he sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to JSS Hospital, where he died.

Lakshmipuram Police have registered a case in this regard against engineer Deepak.
