Basavanna has been awarded Ph.D in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Sciences by the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, for his thesis ‘An approach to avoid quasi-dynamic obstacles in an indoor environment using multisensor information fusion.’ [Guide: Dr. M. Shivakumar].
