Mahamastakabhisheka will held from Dec.13 to 15 at 11 am

Mysuru: The Platinum Jubilee Celebrations and Jathra Mahotsava of Gommatagiri Sri Kshetra,  Hunsur taluk, will be held from Dec.12 to 15, said Gommatagiri Seva Samiti President Manmatharaj  at a press conference held at Pathrakartara Bhavan in city.

A preliminary meeting in connection with the celebrations will be held on Dec.12. Mahamastakabhisheka will held on all three days from Dec.13 to 15 at 11 am.

On Dec.13 at 10.30 am, Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will release a Souvenir at Arhaddasara  Sabha Mantap in the presence of Swastishri Bhuvanakeerthi Bhattaraka Swamiji of Sri Kshetra Kanakagiri, Swastishri Dr. Devendra Keerti Bhattaraka Swamiji of Hombuja Kshetra and Swastishri Abhinava Charukeerthi Swamiji of Shravanabelagola.

The programme will be inaugurated by Meghalaya Governor C.H. Vijayashankar. Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, Minister D. Sudhakar, MLA G.D. Harishgowda, MP Yaduveer Wadiyar and others will be present as chief guests.

On Dec.14 at 11 am, Mahamastakabhisheka will be performed. At 2 pm, District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa will inaugurate the Amruta Kuteera. Minister Sudhakar will preside. Ministers Krishna Byre Gowda, Eshwar Khandre and others will participate.

On. Dec.15, Mahamastakabhisheka will be held at 11 am. MLCs  A.H. Vishwanath, Dr. Yathindra Siddaramaiah, C.N. Manjegowda, K. Vivekananda and others will be present.
