Police Public School celebrates  Annual Day at KPA Auditorium

Mysuru: Police Public School on Mahadevapura Main Road in Jalapuri, Mysuru, celebrated its 16th Annual Day in a grand manner for two days and in three sessions at the Karnataka  Police Academy (KPA) Auditorium in city recently.

The first session was for the students from classes Pre-kg to class 2. Jayaprakash, IPS, Deputy Director, State Intelligence, Mysuru Division, was the chief guest. Dr. R.M. Sumanth Vasistha, Clinical Embryologist and Playback Singer, was the guest of honour. The Annual Report for this section was presented by M.G. Manjula, Vice-Principal (Nursery).

The chief guest spoke on the importance of using alternate medicine, especially for children and the benefits of following a rich vegetable diet with a disciplined daily routine.

This was followed by a colourful entertainment programme by the tiny-tots.

Session – 2

For Session 2, Basavaraj, IFS, District Forest Officer, Mysuru, was the chief guest. Dr. Sarika Prasad, Child Specialist, who was the guest of honour, stressed the importance of holistic education as        opposed to mere bookish education.

The Annual Report for this Session was presented by Sheela, Kannada HoD of the school. Following this was entertainment by the students of classes 3, 4 and 5.

Session – 3

Session 3 commenced with Mona Roat, IAS, CEO, Zilla Panchayat, Chamarajanagar, as the chief guest. In her speech, she stressed the importance of education. The Annual Report for the year 2024-25 was presented by Principal I/C, Deena Uthappa, highlighting the School’s achievements in                          various fields.
