Mysuru: The new building of Power Friends Recreation Club, funded by CESC Engineers, will soon come up at Ravindranath Tagore Nagar (RT Nagar) in city. Guddali puja for the same was performed at the site recently.
The building will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 6 crore at the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) developed Layout. MUDA had sanctioned a Civic Amenities (CA) site measuring 28,000 sq. ft. for construction of the same.
Power Friends Association President Sriramegowda, Secretary Munigopal Raju, Retired State Information Commissioner K.M. Chandregowda, CESC Chief Engineer Aftab Ahamed, Superintending Engineer Chandrashekar, Chief Finance Officer Shivanna and others were present during the ground-breaking ceremony.
Speaking to Star of Mysore, Secretary Munigopal Raju said that the new complex will have sports facilities like tennis ball, shuttle cock and badminton courts, club house, administrative block, community hall, cottages and swimming pool.
