Pragna Rangotsava Shaikshanika and Samskritika Trust is organising ‘Pragna Rangotsava’ programme on Aug. 24 and 25 at Kalamandira in city, said Trust President Sosale Siddaraju while addressing a press conference at Pathrakartara Bhavan here on Tuesday.

Giving details of the event, Sosale Siddaraju said that on Aug. 24 at 6 pm, writer Kotaganahalli Ramaiah will inaugurate the programme and senior theatre person C. Basavalingaiah will preside. Dr. Sudarshan, T.S. Subramanya, Bannur Raju, Prof. C. Ramaswamy and others will also participate, he added.

The valedictory will be held on Aug. 25 at 6 pm. Social activist and Kannada film actor Chetan Ahimsa will deliver the valedictory address. Dr. P. Madesh will preside. Mime Ramesh, Mallikarjunaswamy, Dr. S. Shivarajappa and Dr. H.M. Kumaraswamy will be the guests. Achievers from various fields will be felicitated. Cultural programmes like folk dance, dollu kunita, folk music and Manteswamy Katha Prasanga will be organised on both the days. Entry will be free for the public, said Siddaraju. K. Shivaraju, K.S. Kumaraswamy and Dr. S.R. Thirumalesh were present at the press conference.
