Mysore/Mysuru: Indian pacer Prasidh Krishna, who played a crucial role by picking up eight wickets at The Oval Test to help the Indian team square the series against England recently, joined Mysore Warriors team after taking small break from cricket. He will be seen in action at the ongoing KSCA Maharaja Cup T20 Tournament at the SDNR Wadiyar Stadium.
Prasidh, on his arrival to Mysuru yesterday, visited Chamundi Hill and sought the blessings of Goddess Chamundeshwari, before hitting the Warriors nets. He was accompanied by Mysore Warriors Team Owner and Cycle Pure Agarbathi Managing Director Arjun Ranga and other support staff.
Prasidh Krishna’s joining the team will be a huge boost to Warriors’ bowling attack. Currently, placed fifth in points table with six points, Mysore Warriors will look to make most from Prasidh Krishna’s presence to continue winning more games after bouncing back with a win against Bengaluru Blasters in their last game.
Speaking to Star of Mysore, Team Owner Arjun Ranga, said, “It is fantastic to see the back of Prasidh Krishna into the team. This is his third year in Mysore Warriors. His presence will not only boost our bowling attack and team morale, but will also provide an opportunity for other bowlers to learn from his experience. The most recent one being India’s tour of England.”
