Same pattern for SSLC students from next year

Bengaluru: The Department of PU Education has decided to hold preparatory exams for Second PU students from this year. Since there was not much activity seen in the preparatory exams by the Principals’ Association in the past, the Department has taken upon itself to conduct the exams.

Two sets of question papers of the previous year will be used for the preparatory exams. Using the subject experts question papers will be prepared with utmost care by the Department itself. As a result, the students will get a clear picture of what kind of questions to expect in the main exam, said Primary and Secondary Education Principal Secretary S. R. Umashankar.

However, the Principals Association has criticised the stand taken by the Department of PU Education as some of the portions of the syllabus would still not have been covered during the preparatory exams.

Meanwhile, the same pattern will be followed for SSLC students from next year when preparatory exams will be held for them also.
