Mysore/Mysuru: The Public Lecture’s Committee of Hokkaido University of Japan with Faculty of Health Sciences has organised a two-day special lecture in Japan on July 20 and 21.

Former Vice-Chancellor of University of Mysore Prof. K.S. Rangappa, CSIR Senior Scientist, who has been invited, will speak on the topic Alzheimer’s disease and Cancer: The old-age diseases with an age-old solution. The lecture also involves an interactive session with the Deans, Professors, Students and faculties of Hokkaido University.

Prof. Rangappa, also an Ambassador of Hokkaido University of Japan and his team have made significant contribution in the area of Cancer and Alzheimer research. Recently, he was elected as “The Fellow of The World Academy of Sciences” which is part of UNESCO activities.
