Mysore/Mysuru: The two-day B.S. Pandit Memorial Concert — Saraswati 2025 — organised by Geetha Shishu Shikshana Sangha, Mysuru, commenced at GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW) on KRS Road in city on Thursday last on a grand and melodious note.
The inaugural event witnessed an enchanting Hindustani classical recital by the legendary Padma Shri and Karnataka Sangeetha Vidwan Awardee Pt. M. Venkatesh Kumar, whose divine voice left the audience spellbound. His soulful renditions, marked by emotional depth and spiritual resonance, created an atmosphere of pure musical bliss.
Pt. Venkatesh Kumar was accompanied by Keshav Joshi on tabla, Vid. Dr. Ravindra Katoti on harmonium and team — together delivering an exceptional performance that celebrated tradition, devotion and artistic excellence.

Day-2 on Friday featured an enthralling Kuchipudi dance duet by Natyavishaarada Jaikishore Mosalikanti and Padmavani Mosalikanti.
Jaikishore, a recipient of the Sangeet Natak Akademi’s Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar, is a renowned Kuchipudi exponent admired across India, the US, and Europe for his expressive presentation and mastery over the art form. The duo were accompanied by a talented ensemble featuring Aadith Narayan (natuvanga), Janani Hamsini Narasimhan (vocal), G.V. Guru Bharadwaaj (mridanga), Aditya (violin) and R.S. Adhvaith (flute).
