Mysore/Mysuru: “Today, crime rate is increasing globally, but it is possible to curb it with the knowledge of ‘Rajayoga Karmasiddantha’ (about rebirth) taught at the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya,” stated retired Superintendent of Police (SP) Nagappa.  He expressed his opinion while inaugurating the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya’s new Rajayoga Spiritual Education Centre in Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Nagar here recently.

 Founded in 1936 as a small women’s organisation, this organisation has now expanded to 147 branches worldwide within a short span of time, which is truly commendable. Visitors to this place will be drawn to the positive and peaceful atmosphere. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness about the consequences of their actions — both in the present and in the long run — has led to a rise in the number of crimes, Police Stations and Courts, which is a concerning development, he rued.

Veteran spiritual thinker B.K. Ranganath emphasised the urgency to replace the unrest prevailing in the world with peace. In pursuit of this objective, the new Rajayoga Spiritual Centre has been established.

ACP Gajendra Prasad stressed importance of elevated thinking, simple lifestyle and abstaining from negative habits as prerequisites for mental peace.

Lecturer Pandit Siddalingaswamy, retired SBI Manager Rangaswamy, and retired Dy.SP Krishnamurthy shared their  experiences. The programme featured singing and dances.

Lakshmiji highlighted that the Rajayoga education provided in this centre will facilitate holistic development, benefitting the residents of the area.  The inaugural function was attended by B.K. Ramachandra, B.K. Rashmi, B.K. Shivaleela, B.K. Manjula, Maniyanna Kumar, and B.K. Aradhya. To mark the occasion, a Shanti Shobha Yatra was organised by the Brahma Kumaras, Brahma Kumaris, and students along the main streets of the locality.
