‘Ranga Sambhrama-2022’ of Naadaranga begins

Kannada Rajyotsava Award recipient Y.M. Puttannaiah playing harmonium and District Kannada Sahitya Parishat Mysuru President Maddikere Gopal and Kannada Rajyotsava Award recipient and Kadamba Ranga Vedike President Rajashekar Kadamba playing tabla to mark the inauguration of ‘Ranga Sambhrama-2022,’ a 5-day Theatre Festival of Mythological, Social and Historical plays, organised by Naadaranga, Khille Mohalla in association with Kannada & Culture Department, Bengaluru, at Mini Theatre, Kalamandira premises, yesterday. Desiranga cultural troupe President Krishna Janamana, Naadaranga Nagendra Kumar and others are also seen. Historical play ‘Visha Jwale,’ written by N.S. Rao and directed by Rangaswamy, was staged by Rangananda Kala Sangha, Mysuru, on the occasion. Today at 7 pm, Naadaranga, Mysuru, will stage historical play ‘Chhatrapati Shivaji’ written by Mysore R. Jayaram and directed by Gopal Rao Jadhav (Gopi).
