We definitely understand the inconvenience caused by the footpath vendors for the pedestrians and traffic. But what do you call this? This is real footpath encroachment on Ramanuja Road. (see pic)

Hope the authorities con-cerned, who are busy vacating the helpless vendors, shall make sure the barricades that occupy this footpath and beyond are removed. I personally conveyed the concerned to clear the unauthorised barricade but to no avail.
