Remove seized vehicles parked on footpath

May 29, 2025

Sir,

I am writing to bring to your attention a follow-up issue regarding the footpath near Devaraja Traffic Police Station.

My letter about footpath encroachment by the Devaraja Traffic Police Station was published in Star of Mysore on Jan. 3, 2025. Following the publication, Police officials took prompt action and removed the barricades from the footpath, which was well appreciated by the public.

However, I regret to inform you that the same footpath is now being used to park seized vehicles. This has once again obstructed pedestrian movement and is causing inconvenience to the public.

I request the Police authorities to take immediate steps to clear the footpath and ensure it remains accessible for public use.
