Rukmini Devi Memorial Music-Dance Fest

Nandi Kalagram has organised ‘Samsmruthi,’ a one-day festival of Music and Dance in memory of Rukmini Devi Arundale, at Veene Seshanna Bhavan, Kuvempunagar, in city on Feb. 28 starting at 5.30 pm. Karnataka Kalashri Prof. Uma Rao will be the guest of honour. Dr. Sheela Sridhar will be the chief guest. Dr. Priyashri Rao will present a music concert while Mrinalini Rajaram and Avijit Kundu will present Bharatanatyam. Supporting artistes are Dr. Priyashri Rao (natuvanga), Jyothishmathi Sheejith (vocal), G.T. Swamy (mridanga), Krishna Prasad (flute) and Sowmya (violin).
