Mysuru: Sainik Academy Mysuru at Belavadi here accorded a grand welcome with garlands and a shower of flowers to the Agniveers, who returned to their hometown, after completing their military training.

T.V. Manjunath from Kodagu and Kanmani Naveen Kumar from Kolar — who were selected for the Indian Air Force (IAF), after receiving training at the Sainik Academy, were also honoured on the occasion. Chamundeshwari Assembly Constituency’s BJP President Pailwan Ravi, General Secretaries Raghu, Revanna, Kumar, former Commando and Sainik Academy Founder C.M. Sridhar, Co-founder Anita Sridhar, faculty members S.S. Ravi, Sunitha, Namratha, Varsha, Srilakshmi and Chetan, ex-serviceman Shashikiran, soldier Harish and  others were present.
