Mysore/Mysuru: A two-day ‘Samajamukhi Sahitya Sammelana (Literature Conference)’ featuring emerging and senior writers from different parts of the State, including Mysuru, will be held at Bharat Scouts and Guides premises on Palace Road in Bengaluru on Nov. 8 and 9.
Littérateurs Nadoja Dr. Hampa Nagarajaiah, Nadoja Prof. Baragur Ramachandrappa and Prof. H.S. Shivaprakash will take part in the inaugural event.
Around 225 writers, thinkers and 16 artistes, along with more than 2,000 delegates, will take part in the literary meet.
Discussions on short stories, Dalit literature, Vachanas, theatre, folklore, fine arts, cinema, music, dance, environment journalism, among others will be held.
There will be one stage set up at the Conference for discussions in English language.
Noted writers Dr. Hampana, G. Ramakrishna, B.R. Ravikanthe Gowda, K. Ramaiah, Malathi Pattanashetti and H.L. Pushpa will be present during the valedictory ceremony.
The two-day meet will also include exhibition, book sale and release of new books among others including Moodalapaya Yakashagana presentation.
