Mysuru: Hari Vidyalaya will be launching its annual music and arts festival, Sankranti Sambhrama, as a tribute to its Founders, Hosamane Alamelamma Ramaswamy Iyengar and Founder-President late M.K. Venkateshaiah.
This cultural initiative aims to celebrate the spirit of Sankranti while honouring the rich legacy of music, arts and traditions.
The inaugural event will feature an enchanting concert by eminent Karnatak vocalist Vid. G.K. Manmohan on Jan. 11 at 5 pm at Shree Vedanta Deshika Mantapa, Hari Vidyalaya, Bogadi in city. He will be accompanied by Vid. Keshav Mohankumar on violin and Vid. Aniruddha S. Bhat on mridanga.
Known for his soul-stirring renditions and mastery over the art form, G.K. Manmohan promises to captivate the audience with a repertoire that pays homage to the essence of tradition and festivity. The event is open to all music enthusiasts and well-wishers.
