Mysore/Mysuru: Karnataka State Dr. Gangubai Hangal (KSGH) Music and Performing Arts University, Mysuru, commemorating the 107th birth anniversary of Dr. Gangubai Hangal and the University’s decennial celebrations, has organised a three-day National-level Inter-University Cultural Competitions and Festival titled ‘Samskritika Kala Pratibhotsava’ at its premises in city from Mar.3 to 5.
Prof. N.R.Shetty, former Vice-Chancellor, Bangalore University will inaugurate the event on Mar. 3 at 4.30 pm in which Prof. Vidya Shankar, Vice-Chancellor, KSOU, Muktha Gangothri, Mysuru; Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy, Bharatanatyam exponent, Mysuru; Mandya Ramesh, Renowned Film Actor and Director, Natana, Mysuru and Pt. Praveen Godkhindi, Flautist, Bengaluru, will be the chief guests. Prof. Nagesh V. Bettakote, In-charge Vice-Chancellor and Registrar, KSGH, will preside. Prof. R. Rajesh, Registrar (Evaluation) and M. Lokesh, Finance Officer will also be present.
The valedictory will be held on Mar. 5 at 5 pm. Winners in various competitions will be awarded prizes. Renowned Music Director Dr. Hamsalekha will deliver the valedictory address and B. Suresh, Film Director, will be the chief guest. Prof. Nagesh V. Bettakote will preside.

Interested Graduates and Post Graduates can register their names on the spot at the venue on Mar. 3 and 4. Only one participant per college per event will be allowed and participants must bring their College IDs. Entry is free.
