The Backward Classes Welfare Department has invited online applications from eligible first year full time Ph.D students belonging to Backward Classes Category 1, 2(A), 3(A) and 3(B), for availing monthly Scholarship/ Fellowship. The Ph.D students can apply through the Department website: https://bcwd.karnataka.gov.in before Jan. 20, according to a press release. The students must be residents of Karnataka. The annual income of parents of applicants belonging to Category-1 must not exceed Rs. 4.5 lakh and that of the parents of applicants belonging to Categories 2(A), 3(A) and 3(B) must not exceed Rs. 3.5 lakh.
