Mysuru: The following have been selected for Dasara and Savigannada Award-2024 instituted by Hoysala Kannada Sangha and Savigannada Pathrika Balaga. The awards will be presented at the Institution of Engineers auditorium in city on Oct.9 at 10.30 am.

Dasara Kavi Award: Sujatha Ravish (literature); Savigannada Samskruthika Award: 1. Jnanamurthy (music), 2. V. Hussainappa (literature and administration), 3. S.L. Sriramana (company theatre), 4. K.R. Krishna (theatre and community service), 5. V. Uday Kumar (Hejje Gejje – amateur theatre), 6. Mysuru Anand (comedy), 7. Sumathi Subramanya (literature and spirituality), 8. Bhagyalakshmi Narayan (literature and education), 9. Chikkalli P. Devaraj (education, theatre and sharana sahitya), 10. Dr. M. Palaniswamy (literature and admiration for Kannada) and 11. Swaraj Jain Babu (social service).
