Selected for Intl. Wushu Tourney

Mysuru: City’s child prodigy G. Pranathi from Police Public School has been selected to represent India at the Batumi International Wushu Championship-2025.

She was selected during the Wushu Association of India’s selection trials held from May 2 to 6, 2025, in Himadri Hall, Maharana Pratap Sports Stadium, Raipur, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

 The Championship will be held in Batumi, Georgia, from Aug. 1 to 6. She will be the youngest player from India to take part in an International Wushu Tournament.

Pranathi is the daughter of photographer S.D. Giridhar and L. Sangeetha, residents of Gayathripuram in Mysuru.
